Taxes are very painful..........

Well, I never like gathering and sorting all the stuff needed for the accountant to do the taxes, and this year was harder than most. Last Saturday I was sorting my bazzillion piles (I reallllllllllllllly need to start doing this as I accumulate things, it is a giant patootie pain to do it just before taxes, yikes). Anyway, I went to get up and grab another pile of things for the shredder and I felt a sharp poke. YOWCH! What the heck? I looked down and saw a broken needle on the floor and the ball of my foot had a little smidge of blood on it. I couldn't see anything else, but it did hurt like the dickens. I washed it, put some neosporin on it and limped around for 4 days. On Tuesday when it hurt even more to step, I thought dang it, I better get it checked out. After I stepped on the stinkin' needle I wasn't sure if the needle was already broken (I had a few broken needles on my little desk area that my sewing machine sits on, since I didn't want to throw them in my pretty woven basket trash can because they might fall out and I might step on them, how ironic is THAT???? Sheesh.) Anyway, my dr couldn't see me, too busy with flu patients, so I went to the walk-in clinic. They were super nice there, and tried really realllllllly hard not to laugh at me for being such a dork. I did hear quite a few - WOOOO, that's a doozy, isn't it? remarks though, but that was to be expected after anyone saw the xray of the one inch chunk of needle wedged deep in my foot up between my bones. RATS! Not only did I have to have a tetanus shot now, I had to have surgery on Wednesday! Not in my plans, but they couldn't get it out of my foot any other way.

So that reinforces my belief that taxes are indeed painful. :)

I hope to be back to posting something snazzy soon. Have a fab week, and remember, throw your broken stuff out right away, so it doesn't catch up with you later..........

Awwwww pam! I don't think you're a dork! LOL.
Good luck with the surgery - I'll be thinkin of ya

How did I come up with Pam's Eclectic Stuff?

Pam- that is me. :)

eclectic --adj.- selecting what seems best of various styles or ideas
*Since I like a huge variety of arts and mediums, this seemed perfect, we will talk about the best of various styles or ideas.

stuff- The noun stuff has 7 senses -
1. material, stuff -- (the tangible substance that goes into the makeup of a physical object; "wheat is the stuff they use to make bread")2. whatchamacallit, stuff, whatsis, sundry, sundries -- (miscellaneous unspecified artifacts; "the trunk was full of stuff")3. stuff, clobber -- (informal terms for personal possessions; "did you take all your clobber?")4. stuff, stuff and nonsense, hooey, poppycock -- (senseless talk; "don't give me that stuff")5. stuff -- (unspecified qualities required to do or be something; "the stuff of heros"; "you don't have the stuff to be a United States Marine")6. stuff -- (information in some unspecified form; "it was stuff I had heard before"; "there's good stuff in that book")7. stuff -- (a critically important or characteristic component; "suspense is the very stuff of narrative")

*What more needs to be said? I really thought about using Pam's Eclectic Sundries, but I thought that might be tough to remember. :) Stuff is easy and conveys a variety of meanings. I like the definition- miscellaneous unspecified artifacts. I also liked whatchamacallit, but that is a lot of typing. :)

So there you have it!
